Final weekend of my Open Studio

I can’t believe that this weekend (27/28 July) will be the last weekend of the Cambridgeshire Open Studios.  This has been my first Open Studio and it has been a big challenge but really rewarding. I have produced some 20 or so pieces of varying design which are all on display.

It would be lovely to welcome anyone who would like to see my artwork and see my Studio in use.

During the previous Open Studio weekends in July I have been working on a new design, which I have carved onto my block.  This weekend I will be running the block through the press to see where I need to carve some more and hopefully follow that with some successful final prints

It has been really lovely to meet people coming to the Gallery, some are artists themselves and some are not and it has been very interesting and rewarding to hear what everyone has to say.

Some comments from visitors to the Gallery;

  • ‘Dramatic and beautiful prints. Thank you for showing us’
  • ‘Amazing and beautiful work’
  • ‘Fantastic work as expected, Well done’
  • ‘Fabulous! – well done Beautiful work….’
  • ‘So interesting to learn about your work. It is so good’
  • ‘Excellent work, Thanks for the chat’

I will be opening my studio from 11am – 6pm on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th July.   Come and browse my exhibition of lino prints and see how to print from the lino using an Etching Press.

Come and visit the Gallery at 108 High Street, Yelling and see printing demonstrations in the Studio.
